LEARN ABOUT THE ALLIANCE WITH MAXWELL LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION

Prosperous Guatemala was born in 2003 as a non-profit, non-partisan and non-religious Association, which has been characterized by the LIS: Leadership, Influence and Service.

The Seminars and Trainings of Guatemala Próspera have been characterized by being of the highest level and completely free, allowing influencers to be influenced in all spheres of the Nation.

In 2013, John Maxwell joined the vision of transformation of the country by choosing Guatemala among 159 countries to develop a transformation program based on principles and values. This is how the alliance between Maxwell Leadership Foundation and Guatemala Próspera was born.

After a survey, 12,000 Guatemalans choose 15 urgent values and John Maxwell's 15 Indispensable Laws of Growth are added to make a total of 30 topics.

This is how the first leadership program was born: “The Transformation Is In Me”. Subsequently, by the hand of John Maxwell, we launched: "Living Intentionally" with 16 new songs and "EL8: ethics and leadership in 8 steps", with 8 new songs.

The methodology for these programs is round table where 4 to 6 people meet for 30 minutes once a week to learn a principle or a value.

More than readings, the teaching is based on the action and application of the principles in our daily lives for experiential learning.

Transformational Leadership programs are of the highest level and completely free. So far, more than 2.5 million people have completed the Maxwell Leadership programs in Guatemala, managing to improve indicators such as organizational climate, employee loyalty, punctuality, teamwork, customer service, productivity from 30 to 75 percent, among many others. But more than that, we have been dazzled by the stories of personal transformation that are permeating the culture of many institutions, and therefore of Guatemala. Such is the case of the Jutiapa prison, a Department of Guatemala, where after having taken the Transformation Diplomas, the inmates renovated the prison and now, it was declared a "Model Prison" due to the good behavior of the inmates.

These Transformational Leadership programs are breaking paradigms, they are providing hope and new opportunities to thousands of Guatemalans who are transforming their lives and the future of their generations. The alliance between the Maxwell Leadership Foundation and Guatemala Próspera is given thanks to people who, like you, are committed to Transformational Leadership and are people who generate positive changes in their environment.

We dream of a better country, with a better future in which principles and values become daily actions that allow us to obtain a prosperous Guatemala.

The alliance between Woord en Daad   and Guatemala Próspera began in 2019 with the process of creating a material based on the professional growth needs expressed by teachers.

As a result of this alliance, a consortium formed by Guatemala Próspera, Woord en Daad, the Mariano Gálvez University and AMG Guatemala emerged.

The vision of the teacher growth program is “A continuously growing educational community, founded on principles; empowered to fulfill its original purpose that guides an effective and quality education in Guatemala”.
